(Feb. 6 2010) - Trailing by one, Abbie Tepe (Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio) drilled a game-winning three-point shot with five seconds left to lift Nova Southeastern University women's basketball over Eckerd 54-53 on Saturday afternoon. The win snaps a six-game losing skid for the Sharks, who improve to 10-12 overall and 3-8 in the Sunshine State Conference. Eckerd falls to 7-12 on the season and 1-9 in the conference

Atlanta, GA_- After losing to Eagles Landing on Saturday, the Henry County Ladyhawks got their game back on track with 69-37 victory against Southwest Macon Tuesday night in McDonough during a Region 4-AA contest.
With the win, the Ladyhawks improved to 16-4 overall and 10-1 in league play. It also sets up a showdown on Friday at Northeast Macon

The Trinidad & Tobago women basketball team automatically qualified for the Centrobasket Tournament tentatively scheduled to be played in Santo Domingo from July 5-11.
At the previous championships held in 2008 TT women team secured a fifth place finish from amongst an eight team tournament roster. And in the absence of the pre qualifying tournament, the 2009 CBC Women Championships, they have been selected for this year championships
