Ernest Scott
Limoges CSP Elite (ProA) inked 34-year old Antiguan international forward Ernest Scott (201-102kg-82, college: Valdosta State, agency: Court Side). He played most recently at Fuenlabrada in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 31 games he averaged 5.0ppg and 2.5rpg last season.
The previous (14-15) season Scott played at Kolossos (A1) in Greek league. In 21 games he had 8.7ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2spg.
The 202014 summer he played at Saints (NBL) in New Zealand league. In 12 games he had 9.9ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.7apg, 1.4spg and 1.0bpg in 2014 season. He also spent pre-season at Gaiteros (LPB) in Venezuelan league that year.
In 2008 (four years after he left the college) Scott was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in second round (30th overall).
The former Valdosta State (NCAA Div.II) standoutis in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements he played in the final of New Zealand NBL in 2008 and 2012. Scott received also Latinbasket.com All-CBC Championships 1st Team award in 2015.
He represented Antigua at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) last year.
Scott is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). Scott has played previously professionally in Argentina (Villa Angela), Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Greece (Peristeri GS Athens and Ilysiakos), D-League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Reno Bighorns), SEBL (Black Monop.) and UBA (Team Japan).
His game is described as: Very consistent on offense and defense, very competitive play, good outside shooter, strong team-player who scorers when needed, very coachable player who gets the job done.
