ABBA Round 9: HS Outlaws defeat HL Rockersville - Feb 12, 2017

What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

The most exciting game of round 9 in the ABBA took place in St.John's. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked HL Rockersville (1-5) to fifth ranked HS Outlaws (3-2) 71-69 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 23-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. HS Outlaws moved-up to fourth place. HL Rockersville lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Bottom-ranked Yorks Crushers (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked Freetown T. (2-3) 66-52. Freetown T. maintains sixth place with 2-3 record. Yorks Crushers at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Ottos. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

HL Rockersville - HS Outlaws 69-71

Yorks Crushers - Freetown T. 52-66

Bottom-ranked Yorks Crushers (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked Freetown T. (2-3) 66-52. Freetown T. dominated on the defensive end, holding Yorks Crushers to just 5 points in second quarter. Freetown T. maintains sixth place with 2-3 record. Jermelle Fraser Returns to Hardwood with Malbas - 27 days ago
Malbas Oresund Malmo (Superettan) landed 30-year old American (has also Antiguan passport) point guard Jermelle Fraser (186-87, college: SUNY Maritime). The last time (15) he played at NH Ostrava in NBL league in Czech Republic. Fraser missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Fraser played in the final of ECAC Tournament in 2009.
He is a very experienced player
