ABBA Round 21: Bottom-ranked Yorks Crushers win against Freetown T. - Mar 19, 2017

Bottom-ranked Yorks Crushers managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses on Saturday night. This time they won against seventh-ranked Freetown T. 68-58. The game was mostly controlled by Yorks Crushers. Freetown T. managed to win third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Yorks Crushers maintains ninth place with 2-9 record. Freetown T. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Stingerz (8-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Freetown T. (3-9). Stingerz smashed Freetown T. 70-40. Stingerz have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Cutie Ovals Ojays. Freetown T. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Stingerz will play against HS Outlaws (#6) in the next round. Freetown T. will have a break next round.

Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Stingerz. Newly promoted HL Rockersville keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The game between third ranked Cutie Ovals Ojays (8-2) and 8th ranked HL Rockersville (2-8) in on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Cutie Ovals Ojays outscored guests from 83-53. The game was mostly controlled by Cutie Ovals Ojays. HL Rockersville managed to win third quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Cutie Ovals Ojays. Freetown T. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Stingerz will play against HS Outlaws (#6) in the next round. Freetown T. will have a break next round.

Malbas Oresund Malmo (Superettan) landed 30-year old American (has also Antiguan passport) point guard Jermelle Fraser (186-87, college: SUNY Maritime). The last time (15) he played at NH Ostrava in NBL league in Czech Republic. Fraser missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Fraser played in the final of ECAC Tournament in 2009.
He is a very experienced player
