The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

The most exciting game of round 29 in the ABBA took place in St.John's. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Flyers (11-3) to third ranked Baldwin Braves (11-1) 85-82 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Flyers. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 25-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Baldwin Braves have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Flyers at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. Baldwin Braves are looking forward to face Yorks Crushers (#5) in the next round. Flyers will have a break next round.
ABBA top team - Cutie Ovals Ojays (12-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Freetown T. (3-12) 73-48. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Cutie Ovals Ojays. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-2 record. Freetown T. lost their eighth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Cutie Ovals Ojays will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Freetown T. will play against HL Rockersville (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Baldwin Braves - Flyers 85-82

Freetown T. - Cutie Ovals Ojays 48-73

ABBA top team - Cutie Ovals Ojays (12-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Freetown T. (3-12) 73-48. It looked good early as Freetown T. took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Cutie Ovals Ojays had a 19-3 second period charge getting the lead and Freetown T. was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 48-73. Cutie Ovals Ojays dominated on the defensive end, holding Freetown T. to just 3 points in second quarter. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Cutie Ovals Ojays. The Basketball Behind Bars programme will make its return after a four month pause. BBB as it is affectionately known, will return on December 3 at Her Majesty's Prison.
