Agostina Burani (188-F/C-91, agency: Players Group) had 9 points and 8 rebs, while Marina Cava (168-G-85) helped with 8 points. #1. This week's number one is former international forward Alejandra Chesta (187-82, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division). Chesta could not help Alghero (13-13) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her good performance the seventh-placed Alghero was edged 58-55 at home by the lower-ranked San Salvatore (#11) in the North group.
Chesta recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting the same number of rebounds. She also added and 3 steals.
The Regular Season already ended.
It's Chesta's first season with the team.
Chesta is ranked ninth on the list of the top scorers in the league.
She has very reliable stats this season: 15.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.3spg, 2FGP: 42.5%, 3FGP: 31.8% and FT: 89.6%.

She was MVP of the game. Thomas recorded 29 points (!!!), 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals; quite an impressive performance considering it's only her third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Gimle BBK Bergen (17-3) is placed second in the Kvinneligaen.
It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Thomas is the league's top scorer and also on the list of best passers (fourth place).
She has individually a very good season with high stats. Thomas averages: 22.0ppg, 5.9rpg, 3.1apg and 4.0spg.
