Sport Club Canadense announced the arrival of the new player. They agreed on terms of contract with David Butler (203-F-82, college: Embry Riddle). The forward comes from Uruguay. He spent the last season with Lagomar Canelones. David Butler notched 13.7 points, 11.1 boards, 2.5 blocks and 1.4 steals per game in LUB. He became LUB South Division Champion. It was the first pro season for David Butler. The forward graduated from Embry Riddle University. He tallied 16.9 points, 9.4 rebounds for the Eagles in his senior season. David Butler was named into All-NAIA D2 2nd Team in 2011.
