After finishing fourth last regular season, Lanus chose to change most of its roster, only coach Silvio Santander, point guard Nicolas Laprovittola and forward Adrian Boccia remain from last season. The team hired William McFarlan and Robert Battle as their foreigners, two players with plenty of Argentinean league experience. They also added shooter Leonel Schattman and Guard Lucas Perez. After spending almost his entire career abroad Patricio Prato will return to play in Argentina this season.
Weber Bahia Blanca Estudiantes suffered the retirement of shooter Juan Espil and they changed most of their roster. Only Juan Ignacio Sanchez and Lucas Faggiano remain from last season. Coach Pablo Coleffi returns to Argentina after several years in Europe. The team added guard Juan Manuel Rivero, forward Federico Ferrini and centers Victor Balso (also returning after several seasons in Spain) and Juan Manuel Torres. Richard Roby and Jonathan Durley will be the foreign players.
Quimsa changed coaches as Fabio Demti returns to the club replacing Carlos Romano. The kept half of last seasons roster, as Jonatan Treise, Sebastian Vega, Diego Logrippo and Damian Tintorelli. They added point guard Juan Pablo Cantero, scoring guard Eduardo Villares and Ramzee Stanton and James Willaims as their import players.
Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia will be coached again by Marcelo Richotti. Diego Ciorciari, Santiago Scala, Diego Romero and Roberto Gabini will continue on the team, although Gabini is injured and will be replaced by Federico Vay. The team also got hold of Mariano Byro and Alejandro Reinick. The foreigners will be David Jackson and Kaheim Seawright
