International point guard Facundo Campazzo (179-PG-91) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Penarol, receiving a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (17 points, three rebounds and nine assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Lanus (#2, 8-5) with 19-point margin 84-65. It allowed Penarol to consolidate first place in the Argentinian LigaA. Penarol have a solid 11-2 record. Campazzo has many years of experience at Penarol, through which he has constantly improved. Facundo Campazzo has solid league stats. He is league's best passer with 7.4apg. Campazzo is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.5spg and 56.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 30-year old Alejandro Zilli (200-PF-82) of Sionista. Zilli had a very good evening with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Sionista lost that game 84-91 to slightly higher-ranked Quimsa (#4, 7-6). This loss caused Sionista to drop to 5th position in North. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Zilli is one of the most experienced players at Sionista and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Adrian Moss (203-F-81) of Union Progr. (#7). Moss scored 21 points and grabbed sixteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Moss' great performance Union Progr. lost 75-88 to the higher-ranked Olimpico LB (#2, 10-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Union Progr. not to end season at such low position in North, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Moss could try to bring Union Progr.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Moss has a very solid season. In 7 games in Argentina he scored 12.6ppg.

10. Juan Gutierrez (205-F/C-83) of Obras - 25 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.

In 35 TNA games in Argentina he averaged 12.9ppg and 4.9rpg in 2014-15 season. He also spent pre-season at Ibar Rozaje (Erste Liga) in Montenegrin league that year. Independiente BBC de Santiago del Estero (TNA) agreed terms with 29-year old center Julian Aprea (196-87). He played most recently at UNCAus in the TNA. In 30 games he had 11.0ppg and 5.2rpg in 2014-15 season. Regional League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca (TNA) landed experienced 39-year old Paraguayan international forward Jose Fabio (200-77) from Comunicaciones. In 39 TNA games he averaged 10.2ppg and 6.4rpg last season.
