Obras Sanitarias Buenos Aires (LigaA) released 28-year old American forward Daniel Fitzgerald (206-84, college: Marquette). In 8 LigaA games he played this season he had 6.4ppg and 2.6rpg.
The last season he played at Sendai 89ers in Japanese BJ League. In 52 games last year he recorded very impressive stats: 18.5ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.4apg and 1.5spg. Fitzgerald was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese BJ League Honorable Mention in 2012.
He has played previously professionally in Germany (ratiopharm Ulm) and Switzerland (SAM Massagno).
Fitzgerald is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
He attended Marquette University until 2008 and it is his fifth season as a professional player.

26-year old swingman Bruno Barovero (194-G/F-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Union SF and receives a Latinbasket.com TNA Player of the Week award for round 15. He had the game-high 36 points adding six rebounds for Union SF in his team's victory, helping them to beat Salta Basket (#5, 6-7) 101-92.
