Obras Sanitarias Buenos Aires (LigaA) inked 28-year old American swingman Jason Forte (196-100kg-84, college: S.Mississippi). He already started the season at Crocodiles in Australian NBL league. The last season Forte also played at Alaska Aces in Filipino PBA. In 8 games last year he recorded very impressive stats: 23.5ppg, 15.6rpg, 2.6apg and 1.6bpg. He also played 8 games in Filipino PBA for the same team last season where he averaged impressive 23.5ppg, 15.6rpg, 2.6apg and 1.6bpg. The other team Forte played shortly was Powerade in PBA. In only one game he had also great stats: 25 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 1 block. Another team Forte played that season for was Targu Mures in Romanian Division A. In 30 games he averaged 14.6ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention and to the All-Star Game.
His team made it to the Romanian Cup Final Four in 2011.
Forte received also Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Newcomer of the Year award in 2011.
He is a very experienced player. Forte has played also professionally in Germany (Brose Baskets), Turkey (Banvit Basketbol Kulubu and Bandirma Kirmizi), CBA (Yakama Sun Kings), Philippines (Air21 Express) and ABA (Southeast Texas Mavericks).
He attended University of Southern Mississippi until 2006 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
