9 de Julio Rio Tercero (LigaA) landed 33-year old American forward Terrence Shannon (203-93kg-79, college: Elgin CC, agency: Paris Global Sports). He played recently at Fuerza Regia in Mexican LNBP. In 7 games this season he averaged impressive 17.7ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.6apg and 1.0spg. He ended the last season at Huracanes in Dominican Rep. LNB. But the most of that year Shannon spent at Quebradillas in Puerto Rican BSN. In 19 games he had 12.2ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.2apg, 1.1spg and 1.6bpg. This season he also played at Fuerza Regia in LNBP. In 7 games this year he had very impressive stats: 17.7ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.6apg and 1.0spg. The last season Shannon played at GECR Indalo. In 5 LigaA games last year he had 10.4ppg and 3.8rpg.
The previous (2011) summer he played at Vaqueros in BSN. In 35 games he had 14.3ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0bpg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Honorable Mention.
In 2001 (two years after he left the college) Shannon was drafted by Maryland Mustangs (USBL) in third round (29th overall).
The former Elgin CC star is in his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Shannon won Dominican Rep. LIDOBA championship title in 2005.
He received also PMA Basketball Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League 1st Team award in 2011.
Shannon is a very experienced player. He has played also in Iran (Saba), Israel, Korea (SK Knights), Philippines, Spain, Venezuela (Trotamundos) and Lebanon (Anibal).
