Regatas Corrientes celebrated Super 8 tournament title. They knocked down Quimsa 77:63 at home court in the Final. Paolo Quinteros (190-G/F-79) was named the MVP of the tournament. He knocked down 22 points to pace Regatas in the title game.
The teams were tied at 21 after ten minutes. Regatas cleared off in the second frame. They piled up a 44:29 halftime advantage. Quimsa cut the deficit in the third quarter. They got within 8 points at the final break 49:57. But Regatas kept control over the course of the encounter in the final period and sealed the victory at the end. Nicolas Romano (199-F/C-87) netted 13 points for Regatas. Tony Washam (200-F-82, college: St.Vincent) added 12 points in the victory. Diego Lo Grippo (198-F/C-78), James Williams (204-C-79, agency: Dream Team Management, college: Brown Mackie) and Javier Mojica (190-G-84, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: Cent.Conn.St.) answered with 12 points each for Quimsa.

Salta Basket (TNA) inked 26-year old Antiguan international center Joel McIntosh (201-90, college: La Roche) from Tomas de Rocamora. In 35 TNA games in Argentina he averaged 12.9ppg and 4.9rpg in 2014-15 season. He also spent pre-season at Ibar Rozaje (Erste Liga) in Montenegrin league that year. Independiente BBC de Santiago del Estero (TNA) agreed terms with 29-year old center Julian Aprea (196-87). He played most recently at UNCAus in the TNA. In 30 games he had 11.0ppg and 5.2rpg in 2014-15 season. Regional League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca (TNA) landed experienced 39-year old Paraguayan international forward Jose Fabio (200-77) from Comunicaciones. In 39 TNA games he averaged 10.2ppg and 6.4rpg last season. The previous (2015) summer Fabio played at Sol de America in Metropolitan League. Among other achievements his team made it to the Argentinian TNA Semifinals in 2012.
