Penarol - Union Progr. 93-71

No shocking result in a game in Mar del Plata where third ranked Penarol (14-5) smashed 13th ranked Union Progresista (7-12) 93-71. The game was mostly controlled by Penarol. Wuber-Est.Bahia - La Union 75-71

Very expected game in Bahia Blanca where 16th ranked La Union (4-17) was defeated by eleventh ranked Wuber-Est.Bahia (8-10) 75-71. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It looked good early as La Union took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Wuber-Est.Bahia had a 20-13 second period charge getting the lead and La Union was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-75. We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Parana where tenth ranked Sionista (10-12) beat 9th ranked GECR Indalo (9-12) 85-79. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But GECR Indalo won third quarter 25-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
