Ernest Scott
Union Progresista (LigaA) landed 31-year old American forward Ernest Scott (201-102kg-82, college: Valdosta State). He already started the season at Ilysiakos in Greek A1 league. In 9 A1 games this season he averaged 10.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.1spg and 1.2bpg. The last summer he played at Wellington Exodus Saints in New Zealand NBL. In 12 games he had 14.4ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.3apg, 1.3spg and 1.0bpg. He helped them to make it to the final. Scott also played at Bighorns in D-League earlier that season. In 10 games last season he had 3.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.2apg. The other team he played that season for was Peristeri in A1. In 14 games he had 11.6ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.3apg.
In 2008 (four years after he left the college) Scott was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in second round (30th overall).
The former Valdosta State (NCAA Div.II) standoutis in his ninth season in pro basketball. He received also USBasket.com All-SEBL Metro A-League South Division 2nd Team award in 2012.
Scott won D-League Southwest Division championship title in 2010.
Scott is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Germany (TBB Trier), Luxembourg, Switzerland, SEBL (Baseline and Black Monopoly), D-League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers) and Japan (Team Japan).
Scotts game is described as: Very consistent on offense and defense, very competitive play, good outside shooter, strong team-player who scorers when needed, very coachable player who gets the job done.

28-year old Jamaican-Canadian forward Dwayne Smith (198-103kg-89, college: G.Washington) left Olimpo de Bahia Blanca (TNA). In 29 games in Argentina he recorded 12.7ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.0apg and 1.5spg this season. The last summer Smith played at Academia in Colombian Liga DirecTV where in 33 games he averaged 14.6ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.8apg.
