Shamell Stallworth (195-SG-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) of Mogi (BRA) has been chosen by latinbasket.com as the Latin America MVP for January. American (has also Brazilian passport) guard played 8 games last month averaging 22.0ppg , 4.6rpg, 4.0apg while shooting impressive 61.4 from 2 and 49.1% from behind the arc! His best game was on Jan.6 when he scored 31 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Worth to mention his amazing 7/7 from behind the arc!

Second best performer of January was Jeremiah Wood (200-C/F-85, agency: Inception Sports) of San Martin C. American big man played 5 games in Argentinain League averaging 20.0ppg, 13.0rpg, 3.2apg and 1.2bpg. He had impressive 63.8% from 2pt. In 4 out of 5 games he recorded double-double.
