   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Nicolas Laprovittola (193-90, currently plays in Spain). He managed to help Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz to win against the 13th-ranked Zaragoza (7-14) 99-88 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. Laprovittola recorded only 2 points and added 7 passes. Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz (15-6) is placed fourth in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Laprovittola averages: 6.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 5.5apg, 3FGP: 41.7%. He is currently a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

Richotti is in the roster of the Argentinian senior national team.

He led UCAM Murcia to a victory against the closely-ranked Sevilla (7-14) 92-80 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night. Campazzo recorded 11 points and added 4 passes. Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (7-14) is placed 12th in the Liga Endesa. Campazzo has relatively good stats this season: 14.7ppg, 2.8rpg, 6.0apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 51.3%, 3FGP: 29.0% and FT: 80.6%. He is also a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

Ginobili recorded 6 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. The San Antonio Spurs have a very solid 45-13 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Vay has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 18.8ppg, 8.2rpg, 3.3apg and 1.3spg in 23 games. Vay has both Argentinian and Italian nationalities. He used to play for the Argentinian national team eight years ago.

   #6. Center Marcos Delia (211-92, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Facundo Campazzo and both played together in the last Spanish Liga Endesa game. Delia helped UCAM Murcia win their game against the closely-ranked Sevilla (7-14) 92-80. He recorded 8 points. It's Delia's first season with the team. Delia's total stats this year are: 6.5ppg and 3.2rpg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Argentinian National Team roster.

He used to play for the Argentinian national team nine years ago.

He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Pierotti scored only 3 points in 5 minutes on the court. Paschoalotto/Bauru was edged 76-74 on the road by the much lower-ranked (#13) Caxias do Sul. This year Pierotti averages just 1.6ppg in 17 games. He plays currently for the Argentinian U18 national team.

This year Fernandez's total stats are: 8.6ppg, 1.7rpg and 3.0apg in 24 games. He used to play for the Argentinian national team three years ago.

Small forward Juan Manuel Caceres (199-84, another player represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Valmontone in their game against Basket Barcellona (15-6) in the Italian Serie B (third division). Caceres recorded 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The second-placed Valmontone (18-4) was defeated 97-90 at home by the lower-ranked Basket Barcellona (#4) in the Group C. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. Caceres' stats this season are: 10.5ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.2apg. He is a former U16 international player as fifteen years ago he still played for the Argentinian national team.

   #1. Daniel Hure (200-PF-85, currently plays in Brazil) led Paulistano to a victory against the closely-ranked Flamengo (15-6) 103-96 in the Brazilian NBB in Thursday night's game. He scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 33 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Paulistano/Unimed Sao Paolo (11-7) is placed fourth in the NBB. This year Hure averages: 9.5ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.4apg in 15 games he played so far.

   #2. Ariel Filloy (189-PG-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Italy). He could not help Umana Venezia (12-8) to beat Vanoli Cremona (6-14). Filloy scored 6 points and added 3 passes. Umana Venezia was defeated 91-82 on the road by the one of league's weakest teams Vanoli Cremona (#15). It was Umana Venezia's fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Filloy's first season with the team. This year he averages: 6.1ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.5apg. Filloy has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian. Despite his Argentinian passport, Filloy previously played for the Italian U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Argentinian team.

   #3. Enzo Cafferata (187-PG-88, currently plays in Brazil) was not able to help Liga Sorocaba (4-14) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Liga Sorocaba lost 73-77 on the opponent's court to the league outsider (#15) Macae. Cafferata was the top scorer with 21 points. He also added 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 39 minutes. It was Liga Sorocaba's third consecutive loss in a row. Cafferata has relatively good stats this year: 13.5ppg, 3.1rpg, 4.7apg and 1.6spg in 22 games.

   #4. Andres Forray (187-PG-86, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a Dolomiti En. TR's victory against the closely-ranked Grissin Bon RE (11-9) 87-75 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. Forray scored 7 points and added 4 passes in 19 minutes. Dolomiti Energia Trento (11-9) is placed fourth in the Serie A. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Forray has been at the team for six years. This season his total stats are: 5.6ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.3spg in 20 games. Forray is another player who holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

   #5. Experienced Santiago Boffelli (197-G/F-83, currently plays in Italy) led Scauri to a victory over the sixth-ranked Roma Luiss (12-10) 71-64 in the Italian Serie B (third division) last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Boffelli recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added and 3 steals. Basket Scauri (10-11) is placed ninth in Group C. Boffelli has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 17.8ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4spg. Boffelli has both Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #6. Brian Savoy (189-SG-92, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Neuchatel (10-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Neuchatel lost 74-89 at home to the higher-ranked (#3) Fribourg. Savoy was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 33 minutes. This year Savoy has relatively solid stats: 12.8ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.8apg and 1.1spg in 17 games. He also holds two passports: Argentinian and Swiss.

   #7. Bernardo Musso (193-G-86, also represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) was the main contributor in a FCM Ferentino's victory against the 15th-ranked Scafati 87-77 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday. Musso was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points and added 5 passes in 33 minutes. Musso has reliable stats this year: 13.6ppg, 4.2rpg, 3.4apg and 1.5spg in 23 games. He holds both Argentinian and Italian passports.

   #8. Dante Richotti (180-PG-85, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Santiago Boffelli. But that was another game of his team in Italian Serie B which we would like to mention. Richotti couldn't help Scauri (10-11) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the ninth-placed Scauri was edged 77-74 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Patti (#13) in the Group C. Richotti recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and making 10 passes. He also added 7 rebounds and 7 steals. Richotti's total stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 4.6apg and 1.8spg. He has Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #9. Daniel Amigo (208-C-95, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA couldn't help the Denver (7-4) in their last game. Despite Amigo's very good performance the Denver lost 72-83 on their home court in Denver to the Indiana Univ-Purdue Univ-Indianapolis. He scored 24 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 31 minutes. Amigo has very impressive stats this year: 16.1ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.5apg in 27 games. He is a naturalized American. Strangely Amigo has never played in Argentina.

   #10. Agustin Fabi (199-F/G-91, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Viola RC in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the tenth-placed Viola RC was defeated 104-96 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Rieti (#11) in the West group. Fabi was the second best scorer with 25 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Fabi has reliable stats this season: 12.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.1apg and 1.4spg. He has dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

Parque Sur de Concepcion del Uruguay (TNA) signed 23-year old Venezuelan point guard Emiro Hernandez (188-94). He played last season at Bucaneros in Venezuelan LPB league. In 36 games he had 4.8ppg and 2.2rpg. Part of previous (2016) summer Hernandez spent at Araguenos (LNB) in Venezuelan league. BPC Virtus TSB Cassino (Serie B) signed experienced 37-year old naturalized Argentinian swingman Manuel Carrizo (198-98kg-80, agency: Players Group). It is actually his comeback to Cassino as he has played here before. Carrizo played last season at Air Fire Valmontone in the Serie B. In 31 games he had 12.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.7apg and 1.0spg. Estudiantes Concordia (LigaA) inked 25-year old Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-82kg-92). He played in the summer at Aguada in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 33 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.2ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Puerto Rican BSN All-Star Game.
