The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with derby games and favorites losing the games.

Tenth-ranked Boca Juniors (11-28) made lots of trouble for second ranked Ferrocarril (24-13) in Buenos Aires on Tuesday. Ferrocarril managed to secure only one-point victory 71-70. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Boca Juniors won third quarter 23-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Martin Cuello (193-93) fired 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American-Puerto Rican Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 17 points. Ferrocarril's coach Alvaro Castineira used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Greek Fotios Lampropoulos (206-83) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds for lost side.
