#2. Second place goes to an international point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91, currently plays in Spain). He could not help UCAM Murcia (8-15) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Campazzo's very good performance UCAM Murcia was edged 73-70 on the road by the much higher-ranked FC Barcelona (#6). He was the top scorer with 20 points. Campazzo also added 4 assists. This season Campazzo has relatively solid stats: 15.0ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.9apg, 1.8spg, 2FGP: 50.8% and FT: 82.1%. He is in the roster of the Argentinian senior national team.

#5. International center Marcos Delia (211-92, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Facundo Campazzo. But that was another game of his team in Spanish Liga Endesa which we would like to mention. Delia contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Andorra (11-11) crushing them 77-53. He scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 18 minutes. Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (8-15) is placed 13th in the Liga Endesa. It's Delia's first season with the team. This year Delia's overall stats are: 6.4ppg and 3.3rpg in 23 games. He has both Argentinian and Italian nationalities. Delia plays currently for the Argentinian national team.

Fabricio Vay
Fabricio Vay
#6. Forward Fabricio Vay (207-86, also represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Austria) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams UBSC Graz (6-20) crushing them 108-51 in the Austrian A Bundesliga last Sunday. He scored 15 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 25 minutes. Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions (13-13) are placed sixth in the A Bundesliga. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Vay is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Arkadia Lions' roster. Vay has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 18.6ppg, 8.2rpg, 3.4apg and 1.3spg in 24 games. Vay is a former international player as he played for the Argentinian senior team eight years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Argentinian passport but never been selected to any of Argentinian national teams:

#1. Ariel Filloy (189-PG-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) led Umana Venezia to a victory over the 11th-ranked The Flexx PT (10-12) 78-71 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Filloy recorded 20 points and added 3 passes in 20 minutes. Umana Reyer Venezia (14-8) is placed second in the Serie A. It's Filloy's first season with the team. Cobos recorded 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Conference Eastern. Bucaneros de La Guaira (5-3) is placed first in Eastern Conference. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Cobos has reliable stats this year: 11.4ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.1apg in eight games.

#5. Damian Palacios (177-PG-85, currently plays in Brazil) was not able to help CR Vasco Da Gama Rio de Janeiro in their game against Flamengo (16-6) in the Brazilian NBB. He recorded 8 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. CR Vasco Da Gama Rio de Janeiro was defeated 94-86 in a derby game by the leading Flamengo.    #6. Bruno Cerella (194-G/F-86, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to secure a victory for Armani Milano in their game against Maccabi T-A in the Euroleague. He cannot count Thursday's game as one of the best ones. Cerella recorded only 3 points. His team was defeated 92-82. This season he averages just 2.0ppg. Cerella has both Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

#7. Experienced Santiago Boffelli (197-G/F-83, currently plays in Italy) was the main contributor in Scauri's surprising victory against the leader Napoli Cuore 76-72 in the Italian Serie B (third division) in Sunday night's game. He was the best player in that game. Boffelli scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in 37 minutes. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Boffelli averages: 18.0ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.3spg in 21 games. He also holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

#8. Dante Richotti (180-PG-85, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Santiago Boffelli and both played together in the last Italian Serie B game. Richotti was the major contributor in Scauri's shocking victory against the leader Napoli Cuore 76-72. He scored 20 points and added 6 assists. Richotti's total stats this season are: 9.5ppg, 3.7rpg, 4.6apg and 1.8spg. Similarly like Boffelli and Cerella above he holds both Argentinian and Italian passports.

#9. Brian Savoy (189-SG-92, currently plays in Switzerland) helped Neuchatel win their game against the league outsider Winterthur 75-59 in the Swiss LNA in Saturday night's game. Savoy scored 11 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Savoy has reliable stats this season: 13.3ppg, 4.7rpg, 4.5apg and 1.1spg. He has dual citizenship: Argentinian and Swiss.

#10. Erik Thomas (196-F-95, currently plays college basketball in the States) helped New Orleans win their game against the Sam Houston State University 75-63 in the NCAA last Friday. Thomas recorded 18 points and added 3 passes (made all of his ten free throws !!!) in 34 minutes. Thomas has very impressive stats this year: 19.5ppg, 7.7rpg, 2.3apg and 1.5spg in 29 games.
