He helped them to win the Uruguay LUB title (twice). It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB 1st Team. Freeman also played that season for Boca Juniors. In 17 LigaA games he recorded also remarkable stats: 16.7ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.2apg. In 2007 Freeman was drafted by Albany Patroons (USBL) in third round (29th overall). He attended University of Massachusetts and it is his tenth season in pro basketball. Among other achievements Freeman received Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Import Player of the Year award back in 2008. He is a very experienced player. Freeman has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to ten different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Freeman has played previously professionally in Belarus (Tsmoki-Minsk), Belgium (VOO Verviers Pepinster), Bosnia (Siroki Primorka), China (Heilongjiang), Germany, Israel (GreenTops Netanya and B.C. Habikaa), Puerto Rico (Brujos), France (JSF Nanterre), Kuwait (Kazma) and IBA (Schenectady L.). His game is described as:
"Rashaun is an All-American Candidate after being on the A-10 First Team for the last two years. He is an extremely talented post player, a great one-on-one player, he's very tough to stop. I've seen more of a determination from him in our preseason workouts. He's paid more attention to his body, paid more attention to his weaknesses. So much came to him, so easily early. He was First Team All-Atlantic 10 his freshman, sophomore, and junior years. I wouldn't say he got complacent. It all just came easy to him; he didn't concentrate on his weaknesses. I've seen a determination. There have been many pro scouts watching his workouts. Ray has done really well.".

Experienced American Larry O'Bannon (192-G-83, agency: Interperformances) put on an amazing game in the last round for Hispano Am. and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 37. The 34-year old guard had the game-high 40 points adding five rebounds for Hispano Am. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Quimsa (#5, 21-14) 77-70. Hispano Am. is placed at 11th position in Argentinian LigaA. Hispano Am. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 16-18 record. In the team's last game O'Bannon had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It's his second year at Hispano Am. and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Larry O'Bannon averages this season 19.0ppg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old Cuban center Jasiel Rivero (204-C-93, agency: Pro Sports) of Estudiantes C.. Rivero impressed basketball fans with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Estudiantes C. to another comfortable win 92-76 over the higher-ranked Argentino (#10, 17-19) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Estudiantes C. keeps 14th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 14-19 record. Rivero is well-known by Estudiantes C. fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.7ppg (#9). He also registered 5.6 boards per game.
The third best performed player last round was American Anthony Kent (208-F/C-83, agency: DTMones) of ARGENTINO (#10). Kent scored 23 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Argentino, leading his team to a 91-89 win against the lower-ranked Comunicaciones (#15, 13-22). The chances of Argentino ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 19 games, recording just seventeen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kent could help Argentino to bring them higher in the standings. Kent has a very solid season. In 31 games in Argentina he scored 11.4ppg. He also has 6.9rpg and FGP: 64.5%.
