The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked San Martin Corrientes (33-13) at the home court on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Olimpico de La Banda (27-22) 89-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of San Martin Corrientes. Olimpico de La Banda shot 61.8 percent from the field. Olimpico de La Banda had a 29-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Olimpico de La Banda especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The former international Federico Van-Lacke (191-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. American power forward Justin Williams (206-84, college: Wyoming, agency: DTMones) contributed with 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international Federico Aguerre (203-88) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds for San Martin Corrientes. Despite that victory Olimpico de La Banda went down to fifth position due to points difference. San Martin Corrientes at the other side still keeps top place with 13 games lost. Olimpico de La Banda are looking forward to face Quimsa (#6) in Santiado Estero in the next round. San Martin Corrientes will play on the road against Weber Bahia (#3) in Bahia Blanca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Formosa. Seventh ranked Libertad Sunchales (23-23) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked La Union (21-28) 89-88 on Monday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American-FYR Macedonian forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St., agency: Diamond Sports) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and Marcos Saglietti who added 18 points during the contest. The former international swingman Alexis Elsener (196-88) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Libertad Sunchales moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Obras Basket. La Union at the other side keeps the eighth position with 28 games lost. Libertad Sunchales will play against higher ranked Argentino (#5) in Junin in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. La Union will play on the road against Obras Basket in Buenos Aires and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Regatas Corrientes (29-18) which hosted in Corrientes 4th ranked Olimpico de La Banda (27-22). Third ranked Regatas Corrientes had an easy win 94-79. The winners were led by Donald Sims who scored that evening 26 points (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). Even a double-double of 13 points and 12 assists by Maximiliano Stanic did not help to save the game for Olimpico de La Banda. Regatas Corrientes maintains third position with 29-18 record having three points less than leader San Lorenzo. Loser Olimpico de La Banda dropped to the fifth place with 22 games lost. Regatas Corrientes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Olimpico de La Banda will play against Quimsa (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
LigaA top team - San Lorenzo (31-15) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Argentino (24-23) in Almagra 95-67. Boca Jrs - Argentino 74-78

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Argentino (24-23) beat 10th ranked Boca Juniors (14-33) in Buenos Aires 78-74. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 19-9. But Boca Juniors won second period 27-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
