The biggest surprise of round 16 was guest Mitre Tuc.'s (5-7) road victory over Independiente (#6) 87-83 on Tuesday evening. Guard Jose Muruaga (188-84) fired 28 points and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Tevin Glass (206-94, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: KMG Sports Management) chipped in 24 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). American power forward Willie Readus (201-92, college: Delta St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Mitre Tuc. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Talleres TV and Temperley. Independiente at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Mitre Tuc. is looking forward to face Talleres TV (#5) in Tafi Viejo in the next round. Independiente will have a break next round.

Rest of the games of round 16 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Temperley was defeated by Rocamora in a road game 85-67. Estudiantes O. beat C.Espanol P. at home 90-82. Gimnasia LP lost to Villa Mitre CF on the opponent's court 82-96. Petr.Argentino managed to outperform Rivadavia M. in a home game 78-71.

Echague - BHY Tiro Federal 74-73
