Here is the weekly review of the top performing Argentinian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former U19 international forward Florencia Llorente (182-92, currently plays in Italy). Llorente contributed to Marghera's victory against the sixth-ranked Udine Delser (7-4) 69-59 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday. She scored 8 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Giants BK Marghera Venezia (5-6) is placed ninth in North group. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Llorente has relatively good stats this season: 11.9ppg, 9.1rpg, 1.8apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 54.9% and FT: 61.3%. She has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian. Llorente played for the Argentinian U19 national team six years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced international center Gisela Vega (188-82, agency: ProDep Management, currently plays in Spain). She contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked ASEFA Estudiantes (4-6) crushing them 87-64 in the Spanish LFB on Saturday night. Vega scored 10 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 32 minutes. Quesos el Pastor Zamarat (2-9) is placed 12th in the LFB. They ended the series of six consecutive loses. This year Vega averages: 6.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.7apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 43.8% and FT: 66.7% in three games she played so far. Former Club Union Florida starter played for the Argentinian national team in 2016.

   #3. The Argentinian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Andrea Boquete (183-90, currently plays in Spain). She could not help AE Sedis (5-6) to beat Argon Uni Girona (9-2). Boquete's contribution was not very remarkable in Sunday's game. She recorded only 3 points. AE Sedis was defeated 72-60 on the road by the second-ranked Argon Uni Girona. It's Boquete's first season with the team. Boquete's overall stats this year are: 6.4ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 37.3%, 3FGP: 26.1%. She is also a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #4. Forward Florencia Palacios (183-85, currently plays in Sweden) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Mark (3-8) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Palacios' good performance Mark was edged 78-77 in Norrkoping by the higher-ranked Dolphins (#7). She scored 10 points. Palacios' overall stats this season are: 9.5ppg and 2.7rpg. She is another player who holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian. Palacios used to play for the Argentinian national team back in 2009.

   #1. Lyndra Weaver, who plays in the Spanish LFB could not help Gipuzkoa UPV (6-5) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Gipuzkoa UPV was badly defeated 77-59 on the road by the leading Perfumerias Avenida. Weaver was the top scorer with 21 points. She also added 9 rebounds in 34 minutes. It was Gipuzkoa UPV's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Weaver has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 16.5ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.2spg in 11 games she played so far.

   #2. Eloisa Katz (183-F-91, currently plays in Israel) managed to help Elitzur Ramla in a victory against the eighth-ranked Hap.Petah Tikva (3-6) crushing them 93-60 in the Israeli D1 last Thursday. Katz scored only one point in 14 minutes. Elitzur Ramla (3-1) is placed first in the D1. This year Katz averages only 0.3ppg in six games. She has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Israeli.

Marquez's double-double lands her Interperformances Player of the Week award - 3 days ago
34-year old Ivaney Marquez (177-SF-83) put on an amazing game in the last round for Quimsa and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 2. She had a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, while her team beat Rocamora (#6, 1-2) 64-52. Quimsa maintains the 3rd position in Argentinian LaLiga. LaLiga Round 2: Berazategui hands first loss to Quimsa - 4 days ago
There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LaLiga. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Quimsa (2-1) in Buenos Aires on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Berazategui (2-0) 60-48. The game was mostly controlled by Berazategui.
