GECR Indalo snatched a narrow road win over Argentino to advance into the quarterfinal stage. It was a very good performance for Spanish-Uruguayan guard Gustavo Barrera (194-85) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 9 rebounds. Center Diego Romero (206-82, college: Florida St.) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Anthony Kent (208-83, college: Ball St., agency: DTMones) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds and the former international point guard Luis Cequeira (180-85) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Argentino.

Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Jonatan Machuca (182-89) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American center Jerome Meyinsse (207-88, college: Virginia, agency: IPZ) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and Nigerian-Jamaican swingman Weyinmi Rose (196-86, college: Providence) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Atenas' coach Nicolas Casalanguida rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by international forward Gabriel Deck (199-95) who scored that evening 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and international point guard Nicolas Aguirre (188-88) supported him with 16 points and 11 assists.
