Libertad beat Obera on the road to advance into the next round. Libertad Sunchales looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of swingman Bruno Barovero (194-90) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and Ernesto Zago who added 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side naturalized Paraguayan forward Jose Fabio (200-77) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Lamar Roberson (203-86, college: La-Lafayette) scored 10 points.
