Lavar Simmons will stay with Saint Quentin - Feb 15, 2013

Lavar Simmons (201-F/C-83, college: Master's) has reportedly agreed on terms of contract extension with Saint Quentin. The Bahamian centre will spend the reminder of the season with the French team. Lavar Simmons played 13 games for St. Quentin this season. His stats read 7.8 points, 5.5 boards and 1.1 assists per game in ProB. Previously the centre had stints with Al Roche, Le Portel, Boulazac, Brest.   

Bahamas NPBA round 4 best performance: Salathiel Dean - 4 days ago

Salathiel Dean had a great game in the last round for Shockers, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 4. The player had a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed Cybots (3-2) with 35-point margin 113-78. Shockers is placed at 5th position in Bahamas NPBA. NPBA Round 4: Stingers keep a leadership position - 5 days ago

The game had a very big importance for sixth-ranked Stingers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Stingers defeated 4th ranked Giants on the road 98-88. Stingers forced 29 Giants turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Randy Williams who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds and Devon Ferguson who added 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Bain's double-double lands him Player of the Week award - 6 days ago

28-year old Eugene Bain (195-C/F-88) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Regulators and receives a Player of the Week award for round 3. He had a double-double of 39 points and 16 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Giants (#4, 3-1) 87-93. The game was between two of the league's top four teams.
