Lavar Simmons (201-F/C-83, college: Master's) has reportedly agreed on terms of contract extension with Saint Quentin. The Bahamian centre will spend the reminder of the season with the French team. Lavar Simmons played 13 games for St. Quentin this season. His stats read 7.8 points, 5.5 boards and 1.1 assists per game in ProB. Previously the centre had stints with Al Roche, Le Portel, Boulazac, Brest.

Justin Smith had a great game in the last round for Bahamas Univ. and that's him to receive a Player of the Week award for round 14. The had the game-high 29 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Bahamas Univ. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Pros (#9, 2-11) 78-64. The Regular Season in NPBA is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. The most exciting game of round 14 in the NPBA took place in Nassau. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 3rd ranked Stingers (9-5) to first ranked Giants (12-2) 67-64 on Monday evening. Ciclista Olimpico de La Banda (LigaA) agreed terms with 26-year old Bahamas international forward David Nesbitt (200-95kg-91, college: St.Thomas, FL). He started the season at Goes in Uruguayan LUB league. In 19 games he had very impressive stats: 15.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.4apg and 1.8spg this season.
