BC Nokia (Korisliiga) agreed terms with 25-year old Bahamas international forward Kentwan Smith (203-93kg-91, college: Stetson). He played this summer at Fuerza Guinda de Nogales in Mexican CIBACOPA, but left the team in May. In 12 games he had 9.9ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.6apg. The last season Smith played at BC Timisoara in Liga Nationala where in 15 games he recorded 14.1ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of A-Sun Tournament in 2014. Smith was also voted All-A-Sun 2nd Team in 2015 at his college time.
Smith represented Bahamas at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) last year. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 8.3ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.5spg, FGP-2 (68.4%), 3PT: 35.0%, FT: 33.3%.
Smith graduated from Stetson University in 2015 and it will be his second season as a professional player.
