Thompson
Santa Cruz Warriors re-signed 28-year old former Bahamas international forward Mychel Thompson (201-98kg-88, college: Pepperdine). He played there last season. Thompson managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 14 D-League games he averaged 12.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg. He also played that season for Openjobmetis VA in Italian Serie A where in 9 games he had 4.2ppg and 3.3rpg. Thompson also played 5 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded 6.2ppg and 2.0rpg.
In 2011 he was drafted by Erie BayHawks (D-League) in third round (7th overall).
The former Pepperdine University staris in his sixth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements he won D-League championship title in 2015. Thompson received also All-WCC Honorable Mention award back in 2010 and 2011 at his college time. Thompson was a member of Bahamas Senior National Team two years ago.
He has played previously professionally in NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks) and other D-League teams (Sioux Falls Skyforce and Erie Bay Hawks).
