Farrington
28-year old forward Scott Farrington (202-F-88) had an amazing evening in the last round for Rockets and receives a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Rockets in his team's victory, helping them to beat Pirates (#9, 2-6) 100-86. Rockets is placed at 7th position in Bahamas league. Rockets is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. In the team's last game Farrington had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Rockets' top player in his first season with the team. Scott Farrington averages just after three games 18.0ppg and 8.3rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Salathiel Dean of Shockers. He is a in his 4th season at Shockers. In the last game Dean recorded impressive 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Shockers lost that game 103-108 to the higher-ranked Stingers (#1, 6-1). Shockers managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Dean is one of the most experienced players at Shockers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.4ppg (#6). He also registered 11.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Shockers' star - William Rigby. Rigby showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Rigby's great performance Shockers lost 103-108 to the higher-ranked Stingers (#1, 6-1). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The last thing Shockers needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Rigby has a very solid season. In 8 games in Bahamas he scored 14.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Justin Smith) of Bahamas Univ. - 30 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Patrick Leadon) of Pros - 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Tevin Hudson) of Pirates - 22 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Domonique Fernander) of Pirates - 11 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Jeremy Hutchinson (C-80) of Cybots - 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Trent Cox (196-F) of Giants - 26 points and 5 rebounds
10. Kemsy Sylvestre) of Bahamas Univ. - 14 points and 14 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
