Domnick Bridgewater put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Stingers, receiving a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 7.
The player was the main contributor (16 points, two rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Pros (#8, 2-4) 82-80. It allowed Stingers to take over top position in the Bahamas NPBA. Stingers have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Bridgewater had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Stingers' top player in his first season with the team. Domnick Bridgewater has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (9th best: 14.8ppg) and assists (9th best: 3.8apg).

The second best player in last round's games was -year old Patrick Leadon of Pros. Leadon had a very good evening with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Pros was edged by the higher-ranked Stingers (#1, 6-1) 82-80. Pros is still in a red zone at 8th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Leadon is a newcomer at Pros, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Stingers' star - Vernon Stubbs. Stubbs scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was another key player of Stingers, helping his team with a 82-80 win against the lower-ranked Pros (#8, 2-4). Stingers confirms their top position in the standings. Stubbs has a very solid season. In 7 games in Bahamas he scored 11.0ppg.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
