Eugene Bain
28-year old Eugene Bain (195-C/F-88) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Regulators and receives a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 36 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Bahamas Univ. (#3, 10-4) 88-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Regulators maintains the 2nd position in Bahamas league. They are still close to the very top. Regulators would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 13-3 record. Bain turned to be Regulators' top player in his first season with the team. Bellevue University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bain is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.1ppg) and averages solid 50.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Justin Smith of Bahamas Univ.. He is a in his first season at Bahamas Univ.. In the last game Smith recorded impressive 25 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Bahamas Univ. to another comfortable win 90-77 over the lower-ranked Pirates (#8, 6-9) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Bahamas Univ. to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 10-4 record is not bad at all. Smith is a newcomer at Bahamas Univ. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.7ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 6.9rpg and 3.8apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Regulators' star - guard Brian Bain (190-G-81). Bain got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was another key player of Regulators, helping his team with a 113-70 easy win against the lower-ranked Cleaners (#10, 2-10). Regulators is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 13-3 record is not that bad... Bain has a great season in Bahamas.
