Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bahamas players, who play currently abroad.

Buddy Hield
Buddy Hield
#1. This week's number one is former international guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma, currently plays in NBA). Hield led Sacramento Kings to a victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder (6-7) 94-86 in the NBA last Tuesday. He was MVP of the game. Hield recorded 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. The Sacramento Kings have rather weak 3-9 record this season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Hield's first year with the team. Hield has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 12.3ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.8apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 43.5%, 3FGP: 39.2% and FT: 87.5%. Hield played for the Bahamas senior national team three years ago.

Jaraun Burrows
Jaraun Burrows
#2. Second place goes to an international forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW, currently plays in France). He was the main contributor in a Provence Basket's victory against the 14th-ranked SPO Rouen (1-4) 88-82 in the French ProB (second division) on Friday night. Burrows was the best player in that game. He scored 25 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 33 minutes. FOS Provence Basket (3-2) is placed eighth in the ProB. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Burrows has very impressive stats this year: 24.4ppg, 6.4rpg, 2.6apg, 2FGP: 79.7%(47-59) and FT: 86.2% in five games he played so far. He played for the Bahamas national team in 2016.

BK Levicki Patrioti (9-2) is placed second in the SBL. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Smith's overall stats this season are: 8.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 2FGP: 66.7%(32-48), 3FGP: 23.1% and FT: 81.0%. He played for the Bahamas national team one years ago.

Bennet Davis
#4. An experienced forward Bennet Davis (206-84, agency: Inception Sports, college: Northeastern, currently plays in Hungary) could not help MAFC (0-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance MAFC lost 77-88 at home to the leading Szolnok. Davis was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 39 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Davis' first season with the team. Davis has very impressive stats this year: 17.1ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4spg in eight games. Worth to mention Davis played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. He used to play for the Bahamas national team back in 2014.
