DAYRELLS ROAD has another team in the top flight now. They took just one season, but Hilton Hawks are heading to the Premier League, having survived Executive Air Dover Chargers' three-point barrage before pulling out yesterday's 89-88 Game 3 thriller in the First Division basketball finals. It was arguably the game of the season, with Hawks needing every second of the decider at the Barbados Community College to book their spot in the big leagues alongside neighbours Warriors. 'Honestly, I am actually excited as a first-time team to come and do things that other established teams couldn't for years in trying to get into the Premier League,' said player and coach Tremaine Shaw.

Semifinals are set in Premier League - 7 hours ago
Semifinalists have been determined in Premier League on Sunday. Pinelands held off Pan American International 82:72 in the first quarterfinal clash. Pinelands trailed by two points after the first period but they picked up the tempo in the next quarters and rallied to the victory. Lakers overcame Bulls 84:66 in another quarterfinal battle.
