BABA Round 8: No surprise as #1 Lumber defeat Hawks - Mar 20, 2017

BABA top team - Lumber (5-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Hawks (1-5) 100-65. Undefeated Lumber have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record. Hawks at the other side keep the eighth place with five games lost. Lumber are looking forward to face PanAm I.I. (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Hawks will play against Pinelands and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Bottom-ranked Tridents (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to fourth ranked Sonics (3-1) 85-56. Sonics maintains fourth position with 3-1 record. Tridents at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Pinelands (4-1) played at the court of 6th ranked PanAm I.I. (1-3). Pinelands smashed PanAm I.I. 106-62 on Sunday. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Bulls. PanAm I.I. lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with three games lost. Pinelands will meet at home Hawks (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. PanAm I.I. will play against the league's leader Lumber and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 8 Warriors were destroyed by Cavaliers on the opponent's court 97-70.

PanAm I.I. - Pinelands 62-106

The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Pinelands (4-1) played at the court of 6th ranked PanAm I.I. (1-3). Pinelands smashed PanAm I.I. 106-62 on Sunday. Cavaliers - Warriors 97-70

Rather expected game when 7th ranked Warriors (1-4) were crushed on the road by fifth ranked Cavaliers (3-2) 97-70 on Sunday. Cavaliers maintains fifth position with 3-2 record. Loser Warriors keep the seventh place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Hawks - Lumber 65-100
