The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Flamengo (13-2) in Sao Paulo on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by thirteenth ranked Corinthians (4-5) 83-69. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Flamengo. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Peruvian guard Kyle Fuller (184-92, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and forward Lucas Siewert (208-97, college: Colorado) who added 15 points during the contest. Four Corinthians players scored in double figures. Argentinian guard Luciano Chuzito Gonzalez (194-90) responded with 12 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and the former international forward Leonardo Demetrio (209-94) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Corinthians moved-up to eleventh place. Flamengo at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Corinthians are looking forward to face Campo Mourao (#12) at home in the next round. Flamengo will have a break next round.
