Another exciting game was between fifth ranked Cuenca and 6th ranked VO4 where Cuenca (2-5) crushed VO4 (1-6) on the road with 24-point difference 63-39. Cuenca held VO4 to an opponent 21.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.4 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded VO4 48-35 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international Maria Carpio (178-93) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.
