Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Cerrado. Corinthians made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Forward Lucas Siewert (208-97, college: Colorado) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Ricardo Fischer (183-91) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international point guard Henrique Coelho (184-93) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Douglas Nunes (209-87) scored 19 points. Cerrado's coach Bruno Lopes tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Corinthians have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 7-6 record. Newly promoted Cerrado keeps the fourteenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Caxias do Sul.
