Very expected game when 9th ranked Comunicaciones (7-18) lost to fourth ranked Regatas Corrientes (17-8) in Mercedes 78-91. The best player for the winners was point guard Leandro Vildoza (180-94) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Patricio Tabarez (195-91) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Mariano Fierro (200-86) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Jose Montero (193-95) added 11 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Regatas Corrientes have a solid four-game winning streak.
