An interesting game took place in Buenos Aires where higher ranked CA Platense (15-13) was upset on the court of ninth ranked Ferro (8-18) 67-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CA Platense. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Tomas Spano (183-98) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Eduardo Vasirani (206-91) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Ferro's coach Federico Fernandez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Andres Lugli (188-95) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds and center Julian Aprea (210-87) added 16 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for CA Platense. Four CA Platense players scored in double figures. Ferro maintains ninth place with 8-18 record. CA Platense at the other side keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost. Ferro's next round opponent will be higher ranked Atenas (#8) in Cordoba and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CA Platense will play on the road against Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
