The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Malvin (#3) and 25 de Agosto (#5). 25 de Agosto was smashed at home by 22 points 39-61 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Malvin forced 30 25 de Agosto turnovers and outrebounded them 45-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Florencia Somma (175-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Florencia Fernandez (-98) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Fernanda Midaglia (174-95, college: FAU) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and Rossana Dagnino (175-89) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion (6-1) keeps a position of league leader. Newly promoted 25 de Agosto keeps the fifth place with five games lost.
