An interesting game took place in where 10th ranked UniFacisa (10-11) was upset on its own court by thirteenth ranked Cerrado (7-14) 81-67. They made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Douglas Nunes (209-87) who led his team to a victory with 28 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Canadian-American swingman Nicholas Wiggins (198-91, college: Z*Orangeville A's, agency: BIG) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Forward Alexandre Paranhos (204-92) answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds and Rafa Oliveira (199-93) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for UniFacisa. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Cerrado moved-up to twelfth place. UniFacisa at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Cerrado's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Brasilia to the arena Brasilia.
