Regular Season Round 3: Olmeca - Club Force 36-79

Another exciting game was between Club Force and Olmeca where Club Force (2-0) crushed Olmeca (1-1) on the road with 43-point difference 79-36. Club Force held Olmeca to an opponent 21.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Olmeca 40-20 including a 29-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for center Helmut Esquivel (196-0) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Forward David Sequeira (183-98) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Four Club Force players scored in double figures. Dylan Castillo answered with 8 points and forward Marvin Ramirez (193, college: Iowa Wesleyan) added 5 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Olmeca. Club Force will play against Forza (#5) in the next round. Olmeca will play against Monjitas to get more than just one victory in their record.
