Not a big story in a game in Sao Paulo where 16th ranked Brasilia (4-20) was rolled over by eighth ranked Corinthians (12-9) 96-70 on Sunday. Corinthians looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-Peruvian guard Kyle Fuller (184-92, college: Vanderbilt) scored 22 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Ricardo Fischer (183-91) chipped in 10 points and 11 assists during the contest. Four Corinthians players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Germerson Barbosa (205-93) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and the former international point guard Nezinho Dos Santos (185-81) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Corinthians moved-up to seventh place. Loser Brasilia stay dead last with 20 lost games. Corinthians will face Fortaleza (#9) on the road in the next round.
