There was no surprise in Moreno where 7th ranked Los Indios (2-4) was crushed by fourth ranked Berazategui (4-2) 86-58 on Sunday. Berazategui forced 24 Los Indios turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Victoria Gauna (185-1) who scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Celeste Cabanez (178-86) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Sofia Acevedo (167-1) who recorded 23 points and Luciana Ricoti added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Berazategui moved-up to third place, which they share with Rocamora and Quimsa. Loser Los Indios keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Berazategui will face Quimsa (#3) in Santiado del Estero in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Los Indios will play on the road against Corrientes (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
