Regular Season Round 7: Quimsa - Berazategui 68-73

Another exciting game for Berazategui (5-2) which played in Santiado del Estero against 3rd placed Quimsa (4-3). Fourth ranked Berazategui won 73-68. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Strangely Quimsa outrebounded Berazategui 41-28 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Agustina Jourdehuil (180-94) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. The former international swingman Celeste Cabanez (178-86) helped adding 10 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. At the losing side Manuela Rios responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Johanna Puchetti (191-87) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Berazategui moved-up to second place, which they share with Velez and Rocamora. Defending champion Quimsa dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Union Florida. Berazategui will play against Ferro (#8) in Olavarria in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Quimsa will play on the road against Los Indios in Moreno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
