Ninth-ranked Corrientes (1-7) gave a tough game to third ranked Rocamora (6-2) in Concepcion de Urug.. Rocamora managed to secure only one-point victory 83-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Naturalized Uruguayan power forward Sabrina Scevola (178-92) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds. Milagros Maza (171-3) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Julia Centurion replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds and guard Sofia Cabrera (168) added 20 points in the effort for Corrientes. Five Rocamora and four Corrientes players scored in double figures. Rocamora have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Velez and Berazategui. Corrientes at the other side keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Rocamora's next round opponent will be Los Indios (#7) in Moreno where they are favorite. Corrientes will play at home against the league's leader Obras and hope to win that game.
