A very close game took place in Rio Negro between Quilmes MP and Dep Viedma. Fifth ranked Quilmes MP (4-3) got a very close victory on the road over second-best Dep Viedma (4-2). Quilmes MP managed to escape with a 2-point win 80-78 on Thursday evening. Quilmes MP looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Quilmes MP's coach Manuel Gelpi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Maximiliano Tabieres (198-89) who recorded 11 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Brazilian swingman Ayan Carvalho (196-97, college: Temple) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Quilmes MP moved-up to fourth place. Loser Dep Viedma dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
