Seventh-ranked Comunicaciones (14-20) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked CA Platense (18-17) in Florida on Friday. CA Platense managed to secure only two-point victory 97-95. However their fans expected easier game. CA Platense made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Comunicaciones turnovers. Point guard Facundo Vazquez (185-98) nailed 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized American power forward Phillip Lockett (202-88) accounted for 15 points. CA Platense's coach Alejandro Vazquez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Mariano Fierro (200-86) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and American Jordan Adams (196-94, college: UCLA) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Comunicaciones in the defeat. Four CA Platense and five Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. CA Platense maintains fifth place with 18-17 record. Loser Comunicaciones dropped to the sixth position with 20 games lost.
