Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (16-9) outplayed on the road bottom-ranked Brasilia (4-22) 99-70. They outrebounded Brasilia 41-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Paschoalotto/Bauru players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Brasilia was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Alexey Borges (185-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and the former international guard Gui Deodato Pereira (192-91) who added 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Point guard Pedrinho Rava Wellausen (183-95) responded with 10 points and 5 assists and power forward Germerson Barbosa (205-93) scored 12 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Paschoalotto/Bauru maintains fifth position with 16-9 record. Brasilia lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 22 lost games.
