Regular Season Round 7: Forza - Halcones 74-81

Very significant was Halcones' (#2, 4-1) victory against 4th placed Forza (3-3) 81-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Forza. It was an exceptional evening for Hector Chur (-99) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 7 rebounds. Mario Reyes (-1) accounted for 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Naturalized American guard David Goddard (185-89) came up with 34 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Jose Tuchan (190-97) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Forza in the defeat. Halcones have a solid series of three victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Club Force lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Forza at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Halcones will play against league's leader Club Force in Guatemala City in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Forza will play against Coeindeguasa (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
